What is ThePrayStation?

Message boards and chat rooms have existed on the internet for years. Prayer "boards" are also available on the internet for people to post their prayer requests. ThePrayStation is on the cutting edge of a newer development, the interactive prayer forum. Far beyond simply posting prayer requests, this format involves a community-like setting where people pray for each other by posting their actual prayers.

ThePrayStation was founded in 2005 to serve as an online venue for WorkingMom.com to expand our outreach ministry by facilitating interactive prayer to the God of the Bible, the source of help for every need. ThePrayStation was designed to function the way a prayer group or "prayer circle" would work in a live church setting. An advantage of online prayer forums is that they can occur on a global level, at any time, furthermore there is a tangible record of the prayers that can be referred to again and again.
